Horse Boarding

Miller Hollow Farm offers a variety of services.

We offer large pasture board. All have hay huts to protect the hay and run in shelters for the horses.

The small pasture board is available and puts your horse right up front and offers you a faster and more convenient way to get to your horse. All of these offer hay in their hay huts all year.

Our full care outside stall board is with oversized 12’ x 18’ stalls. Stall boarding includes high quality grain feeding twice per day, hay at all times and daily turnout.  All of our stalls have cameras and fans, are cleaned everyday and are treated for flies to keep your horse happy and healthy.

Miller Hollow Farm has 2 arenas. One with a fine gravel mix and one a natural sand mix. There are many trails through our woodlands for a fun way to exercise your horse.  We have 2 outdoor wash bays with rubber mats, a bank of new covered crossties with mats and several tack room.

We are on a weekly schedule with a farrier and have monthly visits from a veterinarian to keep everyone updated on vaccinations.

We also offer services like retrieving and holding your horse for the vet or farrier, grain feeding and bathing your horse for you.

Two years ago, after a visit to Miller Hollow Farm with a tour by owner Jane Weaver, I moved my beloved gelding, Hoot, there for pasture board. I loved the big pastures and wooded trails. I was reassured by Jane’s sunny disposition, managers Sheree and Steve Heatherly’s conscientiousness (who also live on the property), as well as the fenced and gated entrance. Experienced trainers keep busy lesson schedules, and lead an active show team. They’re always helpful when I have a question or need.

In January of this year, I began radiation, chemo, and surgery for cancer. Haven’t been able to see my boy as often as I like. But my “farm family” — owner, managers, trainers, fellow boarders (even the young folks who work around the place) — have all stepped in to keep an eye on Hoot just because they’re good people. So happy my Hoot is there.

I can’t say enough about Miller Hollow Farms.  The owners, Steve & Sheree Heatherly and Jane Weaver have always been top notch when it comes to the care of my horse Lucky.  I have been a boarder since 2013 and the farm has undergone many upgrades that have added value including a new barn in the future!  I love being a part of our horse family at Miller Hollow Farms.

My experience with Miller Hollow Farm began in spring 2012 when I embarked on a new chapter in my life.  It started with riding lessons by a certified instructor  who spent hours of teaching me everything from riding correctness to general horse care and well being.  Fast forward to summer 2016, my beautiful Tennessee Walking Horse and I are still an active part of the horse family at Miller Hollow Farm.  This well managed boarding facility continues to improve at every angle. Great trails, riding arenas, beautiful pastures and wonderful folks are what makes  it a second home to me and a perfect home for one my most valued assets, my very loved and spoiled boy. It works so perfectly for both of us!
